Survey #1: ABs, DLs, Etc.; Part 5 - Roleplay

Questions # 24-31

"There's no point in being grown up if you can't be childish sometimes." - Dr. Who

(For brevity, mommy/baby, daddy/baby, sitter/baby, etc. will be included in 'caregiver/child' for the following questions.)

24)How important is roleplay to you?

N % Option
1 390 22%Almost every AB/DL-like scene or fantasy for me centers around roleplay.
2 365 21%Sometimes I'm roleplaying or fantasizing as a specific role, but at other times I leave the role for more adult play.
3 483 28%Sometimes, depending on other factors.
4 239 14%Rarely; usually being me as an adult is more fun.
5 42 2%Never; caregiver/child and similar roleplay turns me off.
6 218 13%Never; I'm just not interested in roleplay.

25)In ageplay-related fantasies, what role do enjoy being most? (Please choose the closest match. For example, an adopted babyfur cub might be a newborn or toddler.)

N % Option
1 179 10%Newborn/young baby
2 631 36%Toddler
3 249 14%Small child, before puberty
4 187 11%Teen or older child (but not a caregiver)
5 86 5%Adult (but not a caregiver)
6 10 1%Sitter, nurse, teacher, or other unrelated caregiver
7 48 3%Mommy, daddy, big brother, or other related caregiver
8 113 6%I enjoy roleplay, but no specific roles in the caregiver/child context.
9 238 14%I don't enjoy roleplay.

26)How often do you try to 'regress' or achieve a babylike 'headspace'? That is, how often do you go beyond acting like a baby or child to trying to think like or 'be' a baby or child? (Since we don't have intimate knowledge of how babies think, this might simply take the form of trying to not think like an adult.)

N % Option
1 300 17%I almost always regress (or try to) when I roleplay as a baby or child.
2 476 28%I sometimes regress (or try to) when I roleplay as a baby or child.
3 326 19%I rarely regress (or try to) when I roleplay as a baby or child.
4 208 12%I don't regress (or try to) when I roleplay as a baby or child.
5 414 24%I don't roleplay or don't roleplay as a baby or child.

27)How important is the right diaper (and diaper cover) for you?

N % Option
1 887 52%Diapers are critical, and the diaper must be of a right type. Other types might be practical, but just not the same. An ABDL or ageplay scene without a diaper (either on me or my partner) just wouldn't work.
2 649 38%Diapers are critical, but the type of diaper isn't. An ABDL or ageplay scene without diapers (either on me or my partner) just wouldn't work.
3 141 8%Diapers are optional. An ABDL or ageplay scene without a diaper (either on me or my partner) might work.
4 34 2%Diapers might be OK, but not really what I'm into.
5 11 1%Wearing a diaper is unpleasant. I'll have more fun without it.

28)Do you enjoy wetting (urinating in) diapers?

N % Option

2 214 11%sometimes
3 56 3%rarely
4 43 2%no

29)Do you enjoy messing (defecating in) diapers?

N % Option
1 478 28%yes
2 377 22%sometimes
3 396 23%rarely
4 487 28%no

30)Would you describe your collection of ABDL things as...

N % Option
1 285 16%nothing right now
2 645 37%diapers and maybe plastic pants only
3 346 20%the above plus a few off-the-shelf toys
4 42 2%the above plus many off-the-shelf toys
5 338 20%the above items plus baby clothes in my size
6 75 4%the above plus custom furniture

31)Were you ever driven by guilt to repeatedly throw away all your ABDL things (or BDSM toys, etc) and swear that you'd "quit", only to give in and get more things? This is called the binge-purge cycle.

N % Option
1 286 17%Yes, and am still going through it.
2 199 12%Yes, but I outgrew it somehow.
3 110 6%Yes, but I was able to break the cycle by moderating the binge and/or purge.
4 275 16%Yes, but was able to break the cycle by changing what I thought about myself and/or what I thought about my interests.
5 75 4%Yes, but was able to break the cycle some other way.
6 783 45%No.
