Changes from 1995 to 2005

Understanding Infantilism was founded on August 17th, 1995. In that time, the internet has changed from a novel research tool to an irreplacable aspect of everyday life. Similarly, 'BitterGrey's Den' has had a number of changes. Here is a list of some of the changes made durring the first decade.

• Cascading Styles Sheets (CSS) were added to layout the text. If you don't see the blue sky on the left, try turning on style sheets on your browser. (In Netscape, it is under edit => preferences => advanced.) These style sheets include only style information. Previously tables were used.
• Main and Journal "tours" set up.
• Pico Search installed.
• W3C HTML validation passed, finally!

• Spring/summer coat implemented on cover page and indexes.
• "puzzle project" icons placed on index pages. They stem from the thought that the Internet community should work to integrate their efforts and improve connectivity. This way, each person's contribution might come together to form a much larger picture, much like the pieces of a puzzle.

• Started keeping a list of new items.
• The essay "Fast Cars" was added. It tries to demystify the paraphilias. The analogy it proposes takes the common and familiar ways we have for discussing cars, and applies them to infantilism.

Previous Items:

• In response to some (always welcome) feedback, the text-intensive pages have been destyled, so that they will use your browsers default settings for font size, font color, and background color. Set the font and colors so that they are easy to read. These pages will appear with a solidly colored background. Most of the other pages in BitterGrey's Den, like this one, will also use the default font size and type. These can be set to your preferences by selecting (in Netscape 4) Edit=>Prefences=>Appearance=>Fonts.
• The cover page-to-large index structure was divided into a more distributed link structure. Hopefully, this will make the page easier to navigate.
