Figure #6 is a histogram showing the age when AB/DLs, in diapers and not, first remembered having deires for diapers and/or babyhood, and being aware that their desires were not common. AB/DLs who reported being in diapers at the time are represented by the bold black line. AB/DLs who did not are represented by the bold blue line. While the is considerable scatter due to the sample size, there is a clear similarity in the curves for those in diapers and not.
It also shows the percentage of boys who bedwet, and the rate at which that decreased, using data from "Bed-wetting in US Children: Epidemiology and Related Behavior Problems," by Robert S. Byrd, Michael Weitzman, Nancy E. Lanphear, and Peggy Auinger[4]. The percentage of boys in the general population who bedwet more than once a year are represented by the declining fine line. This curve was used as an upper limit to the number of boys who might still be diapers. The actual percentage would be somewhat less. (This needs to be kept in mind when interpreting the apparent similarity in the curves between ages twelve and seventeen.)
The lower fine line represents the percentage of boys who would have stopped bedwetting that year.
Question number 4 was used to filter for non-transgendered men and question number five was used to filter for AB/DLs.
14)Was there some event that you think might have originally caused your interest in diapers or babyhood, or did the interest seem to always be there?
15)How old were you, in years, when this realization or event happened? Please give your best estimate. (Y or YY)
