Figure Description

Figure #5 is a bar chart showing over- and underrepresented CSB (control, sex, and babyhood) interest groups. For this figure, a bar chart was used instead of the four-dimensional CSB disk plot proposed in " Mapping Paraphilic Infantilism and Diaper Fetishes" shown below. (The following two images are from a different report, thus the out-of-sequence figure numbers.) This plot showed the relative importance of the themes of control, sexuality, and babyhood in AB/DL games, scenes, and fantasies. The area of each disk is proportional to the node population. While a color code could have been used to display the degree of over- or underrepresentation of the node, this fifth dimension of data would have made the plot still more obscure.

This figure shows the distribution of AB/DLs mapped by interest. The importance of three themes - control, sexuality, and babyhood - are plotted on three axes. Responces were grouped as either considering each theme important(+), neutral(0), or undesired(+). The size of the disc at each combination of interests represents the percent of AB/DLs who reported that combination of interests. For example, 11.7% of AB/DLs reported that control, sexuality, and babyhood were important (C+S+B+).

Questions

Question number 4 was used to filter for non-transgendered men and question number five was used to filter for AB/DLs.

14)Was there some event that you think might have originally caused your interest in diapers or babyhood, or did the interest seem to always be there?

  1. My interests were there before, but at some time I realized that I was different; that others around me didn't share the interest.
  2. My interests were probably caused by a specific event (stumbling across a reference to AB/DL activities somewhere, getting introduced to it, an incident of emotional trauma, trying a new kink, sexual abuse, etc.)
  3. My interests started at a certain time, but I'm not sure what event caused them.
  4. I remember acting on my interests in diapers and babyhood, but don't remember when they started or when I realized that they made me different.
  5. I was wearing diapers already for bedwetting or incontinence, and noticed that I was starting to enjoy wearing them or being a baby.
  6. I decided to try adding diapers or babyhood to my existing ageplay, BDSM, fetish, etc., interest.
  7. None. I've never had an interest in diapers or babyhood.
